Blue River Trailhead
DESIGN FOR
Hg Consult was the prime designer of a new pervious trailhead parking area, trail connector, and two rain gardens located on City-owned parcels on the east bank of the Blue River at the Blue Parkway Bridge.

Completion Date: Fall 2019
The contract also included the design of two weir walls and the installation of remote instrumentation to retrofit an under-performing detention basin along Chestnut Trafficway. The scope of services included Envision analysis, rain garden design, PaveDrain and aggregate storage design, development of construction and contract documents, bid phase and construction phase services, structural Wall Design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
