MO River Bridge
DESIGN FOR
Hg Consult provided bridge design services for both the approach structure and the main river structure, environmental permitting, intersection signal design, and document control assistance for the replacement of the existing US 69 bridges (Platte Purchase and Fairfax) over the Missouri River just north of downtown Kansas City.

Completion Date: Spring 2017
The programmed cost of the project was $79 million. The new bridge, completed in the spring of 2017, provides four new lanes, as well as a 10-foot wide bike/pedestrian shared use path. The bridge crosses over the Missouri River, two levee systems and several rail lines.
